Bottom of the Barrel Gang Ram Tough Chili

pounds beef, chili grind

8 ounce can Hunt’s tomato sauce

onion, finely chopped

teaspoon oregano

 

1 1/2

teaspoons salt

teaspoons ground cumin

 

1/4

teaspoon Tabasco sauce

 

1/2

teaspoon cayenne pepper

 

1/2

can beer

Tablespoon Wesson oil

 

Sear meat in covered 2 quart pan with Wesson oil. Add tomato sauce, onion and garlic powder, cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients and stir, simmer for one hour. Add water if necessary. Serve with side dishes of pinto beans, chopped onions and grated cheddar cheese for garnishes. ENJOY! Serves 6 to 8.
